WELCOME TOKILKENNY, IRELAND WHERE ARE WE? The L'Arche Kilkenny Community is situated in 3 locations, Callan, Kilmoganny and Kilbride. These villages are near to Kilkenny and approximately mid way between Dublin and Cork. The Administration Centre and Workshop is in Callan. Here we do weaving, candle making, printing, gardening and cooking. Cluain Aoibhinn means Fair Green. Also in Callan is "An Siol" meaning The Seed, a residential house for 3 assistants and 3 core members. In Kilmoganny is Moorfield House, home to 5 assistants and 5 core members. Behind Moorfield House is Gort Muire meaning Moire's Field, our organic gardening project. Lion De, meaning God's Net is a residential House located in Kilbride amd is due to open in spring 2001. It will be home to a chaplain, 3 assistants and 2 core members.
